O Cruel Fate!

I've had a horrible day!
I'm trying to be healthy and stuff, so last night I made - well, the innocent child that I am, I got my mother to make me - two delicious salmon & salad sandwiches, which I would bring to work today to save myself from wasting money and health on greasy takeaway.
I left in a panic this morning, after taking longer than expected to get ready, and I had to run to my bus stop. Half-way there, to my horror, I realised I'd left my delicious sandwiches in the fridge at home. Woe is me!
My bus unfortunately arrived late, too. Regularly my bus gets me to the train station in time for 2 trains - usually the first comes as I arrive and it's too difficult to make it, so I wait for the following express train which comes about 10 minutes later.
I wasn't actually aware of how late my bus was running; when I got to the station, I could have gotten on the train which was stopped there in time, but figured I would wait for the second train as per usual. As its doors closed, though, I looked at my mobile to check the time and noticed that the train before me was indeed my usual train - all too late, though, for the train was departing.
Found myself sitting at the train station for a further 30 minutes, running a bit late for work now, in the freezing cold - on that note, what's with the weather? I swear this morning was the coldest I've experienced in my life, and it's not even Winter yet! - and when I finally got on the next train, it was packed with school students and such, and I had to share a seat with another person.
It was a horrible experience.
Anyway, it's not over yet: when my train arrived at its destination, I jumped out and headed for my next connecting bus. However, it appeared that the train had been running late too (or maybe the bus was just early?) and as I got out I noticed my bus, quite a way away from me, was already there and just about to depart. I had to run past a whole lot of people and only just got to it in time.
Then as I tried to get out the coins from my wallet, it emptied them all deep into my pocket and I had to fumble around trying to find them - then I accidentally dropped more coins than I meant to into the bus driver's hand. He gave them back, but it sure was embarrassing acting such a fool before the huge audience of 4 people on the bus!
So, I'm not good at this "being outside of my house" thing. It's new to me. I'm working on it, I assure you. ;)
