Hot Topics Basics

In Hot Topics you can post your thoughts and information about any of the listed categories and people from all over the world who are members of the Hot Potato community can share their thoughts on your writings.

Similarly, you can view articles that other users have posted and comment on them. 

Enlighten Yourself

Catch up on the latest gossip and theories by reading the Hot Topics that other users have posted. It's a fantastic way to gain insight and deepen your understanding of certain subjects!

To locate Hot Topics which interest you simply select a category (from the side menu to the left of the page) and you will be presented with a list of articles relevant to that category. 

To see a summary of all categories and articles, click the Categories link.

Voice Your Opinion

There's a world of people out there who are all eager to hear your opinions on their Hot Topics! Indulge them with your thoughts.

Commenting on a Hot Topic couldn't be easier. After reading one, you'll see the "Make a Comment" section beneath it. Simply enter a title for your comment and then a description of your thoughts, and click Submit! 

Share Your Thoughts

Make your face known by posting your ideas under the relevant category!

Once you've logged in, click Add Hot Topics and fill out the required details. Soon enough you'll have some feedback from another user which you may pursue by replying to a comment (on your own Hot Topic).

In the case of the discussion taking on a personal nature where it would no longer be suitable to be viewable as public comments on an article, or if the comments are becoming a few too many and it's starting to get over-crowded, remember that you can send a message directly to another user (by opening their profile and clicking "Send Message").
